About the Masterclass
The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra invites applications for an intensive five-day Conducting Masterclass led by its Principal Guest Conductor, Sergey Smbatyan, taking place in Malta from the 27th till the 31st of July 2026.
Set against the rich cultural backdrop of Malta, this international programme brings together artistic excellence, professional development, and meaningful collaboration. It provides conductors with an exceptional platform to refine their technique, deepen their interpretation of the orchestral repertoire, and gain invaluable experience working with one of the Mediterranean’s leading symphonic orchestras.
